This policy describes what heroesvow.wiki does with data when you visit. It is written to match how the site is actually built, not to cover features we do not have.

Short version

• This is a static reference site. There are no user accounts, no logins and no profiles.
• We do not run a contact form and we do not collect anything you type.
• We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful — and only after you allow audience measurement.
• We do not serve third-party advertising.
• We do not sell personal information.

What the site is

heroesvow.wiki is a static website: the pages you read are pre-built files served to your browser. There is no application database behind them, no user session and no account system. We do not ask for your name, email, address or payment details, and there is no field on this site to enter them.

No accounts. We do not offer registration, login, comments, saves, favourites or anything else that would create a record tied to you.

No forms. There is no contact form, newsletter signup or other input that submits data anywhere. Corrections, rights concerns and privacy questions all arrive by email — the contact page explains what to send.

No functional cookies of our own. We do not use cookies to remember preferences, and we do not use local storage to keep site state.

Contact email

This site publishes one contact address, contact@heroesvow.wiki, used for factual corrections, broken links, copyright or trademark concerns, and privacy questions.

Mail for this domain is handled by Cloudflare: messages sent to that address are forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to the mailbox provider the site's operator uses, and it is there that they are read. The site itself keeps no copy of a message and no contact list — the pages you read are static files, and nothing behind them stores correspondence. The mailbox provider's own policy applies to a message alongside this one.

We do not use the address for marketing, and we do not add senders to any list. The contact page explains what to include in a message.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-3W0FN9XXWY) to collect aggregate statistics: which pages are viewed, roughly where visits come from, what kind of device and browser is used, and how visitors arrived. It tells us which pages are worth keeping current.

Google Analytics sets its own cookie identifiers in your browser — commonly _ga and _ga_<container-id> — and processes the resulting data on Google's own infrastructure. Google is our analytics provider, and its handling of that data is described in Google's privacy policy, which is published at policies.google.com/privacy.

We look at traffic in aggregate only. We do not use analytics to identify individual visitors, we do not combine it with other data to build a profile of you, and we do not sell it.

Your choice about analytics

Audience measurement is optional here and stays off until you allow it. A consent panel is shown on your first visit, and no Google Analytics script is requested before you make that choice. You can change or withdraw the choice at any time from the privacy panel linked in the footer of every page.

Advertising

This site does not currently serve third-party advertising. If that ever changes, this policy is updated before any advertising script loads, and the network involved is named here.

Hosting and server logs

The site is served as static files by a hosting provider. Like any web host, that provider may record standard technical request data — IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamp — as part of normal operation, security and abuse prevention. We do not assemble that into visitor profiles, and we have no per-visitor history to look at.

Outbound links

Pages here link out to first-party and reference sources: Steam pages, Wikipedia, BoardGameGeek, IMDb, Google Play, and the studio's own Discord, X, YouTube and Bilibili channels. Once you follow one of those links, that site's own privacy policy and terms apply, not ours; we do not control what those sites collect.

We do not use affiliate links and we are not paid for the outbound links on our pages.

Changes to this policy

If the data we handle changes — a different analytics provider, an advertising network, a contact form — this page changes first and its date moves. The date at the top is the date this policy was last checked against how the site is actually built.
